INFORMAS Canada Trainee Webinar Series

About the series

The INFORMAS Canada Trainees’ Webinar Series is a trainee-focused initiative designed to foster connections within the INFORMAS Canada community and the broader global INFORMAS network. This series provides emerging researchers in food environments with an opportunity to present their work, engage with the wider research community, and exchange ideas with peers.

Each session features 2–3 trainee presentations (approximately 15 minutes each), followed by a discussion and Q&A period. Webinars are held monthly at the end of each month, with a summer break from June through August. Trainees from Canada and internationally are warmly invited to present.

Researchers, trainees, and anyone interested in food environment research—whether based in Canada or abroad—are welcome to attend. We are keen to build connections and exchange perspectives with colleagues working on food environments internationally.
