What is the relative price and affordability of 'less healthy' compared with 'healthy' diets, meals and foods?
This module aims to monitor the relative price of foods and meals in Canada. Information on the price and affordability of ‘healthy’ and ‘less healthy’ foods and diets are collected and allowed for the assessment of the differential price of ‘healthy’ and ‘less healthy’ foods and diets as well as for the monitoring of food affordability, by taking into account household income.
